Getting Started with the Map Viewer : Using the map viewer : Switching Bing map types

Switching Bing map types
If using a Bing map, you can change the map type by selecting a map type in the upper right corner of the map viewer. Note that the position of the Bing Maps controls can be configured by your site administrator and that they may appear elsewhere on the map viewer.
1. In a Bing map, select a map type in the upper right of the map viewer to view the desired type of map.
Roads. A map with roads and landmarks labelled
Satellite. A map made up of satellite imagery
Birds eye. A photographic image of an area from a high angle. The map image can be rotated to show the same area from different directions. If this button is not displayed, it means it has been disabled for the map viewer. If the Bird’s Eye button appears but it cannot be selected (grayed out), no bird’s eye view data exists for the area you are viewing.
