Using the layer manager, you can perform various operations related to layers and legends such as viewing and hiding map features, adjusting the transparency of the current map, zooming in to a scale within which a feature is visible, reordering layers and viewing legends.

The Layer Manager is accessed by using Map Content and Legend. To access the Layer Manager, select Map Content and Layer in the command bar.

 

The Layer Manager appears and displays the current map service. The Layer Manager has two tabs—Layers and Legends—displayed at the bottom, which you can use to view the layers and legends available in the current map.
