Using Google Maps
If your map viewer uses Google Maps, you have the option of displaying one of several Google map types. Each map type shows different information and you can view each map by selecting the applicable button in the bottom-left area of the map viewer.
• Roads
Map with roads and landmarks labeled.
• Satellite
Map made up of satellite imagery.
• Hybrid
A map showing road labels on satellite imagery.
• Terrain
A map showing shaded relief to indicate topography.
• Earth
A map displaying satellite images that uses 3D images of buildings and terrain.
• Street (View)
Photographic images displayed at ground-level for the currently selected street. For more information on using Google Street View, see
