Viewing map information
The map viewer has many areas where additional information related to the selected item on the map can be viewed. Information is displayed in the Results window either by performing a search or by selecting features on the map using one of the selection tools (done by placing a single point on the map or by drawing a polygon or shape around the area). When items display in a window, their locations are also indicated with a map symbol directly on the map.
NOTE: | You can display multiple selections or search results in Results window, but all features of the same type are grouped together. Only one group can be active at a time, and subsequent selections or results always become the active group, which means the original selection group is now inactive and displays in its own tab in the background. To reactivate the original group, select its tab. |
